Flatpack Container

FLAT PACK containers offer the customer the possibility to ship in one truck a larger number of modules, fully equipped, as well as basic metal frames, all at the customer’s request.

Why flatpack containers?

  • Reduced transport costs;

Metal structure

  • 2.5 mm thick cold-rolled galvanised structure, welded at the 4 corners of the container
  • The pillars are cold-rolled galvanised sheet metal with a material thickness of 2.5 mm, side dimensions 165/190mm
  • Static calculation of the steel structure according to EN standards.
  • Type of steel used S235JO
  • Cold-rolled galvanised structure with water drainage channel and 50 mm diameter drain pipes located in the 4 corners of the container insulated with mineral wool to prevent freezing

Corrosion protection

  • Rust protection
  • Profiles are degreased with thinners and then painted

Metal frame and panel colour

  • The metal frame is painted with special paint for galvanized surfaces
  • Standard colour of the metal frame is Ral 9002 white/grey (other colours from the paint supplier’s palette can be applied on request)
  • The thickness of the paint layer after drying is minimum 80 microns

Roof

  • Galvanized sheet metal, double-faced (0.5 mm)
  • 2 mm thick cross beams
  • 10 micron PVC waterproofing film
  • Mineral wool 100 mm norm C1 Thermal conductivity ?=0.33w/mk
    16 mm thick white melamine coated sheet (pop-riveted and masked with ceiling colour caps)
  • U = 0.39 W/m2.K
  • Electrical installation with 3×1.5 myym cable

External walls

Sandwich panels

  • The standard colour of the sandwich panels is RAL 9002, but on request panels can be ordered in the desired colour for quantities over 250m2. (1 modular container 40 sqm approx.)
  • 60 mm thick with PUR polyurethane foam with 2 mm deep, seamed outer surface
  • Ral 9002 interior surface colour, smooth/Ral 9002 exterior surface colour, fretted
  • Thermal conductivity ?=0.33w/mk;
  • Sound insulation 33-34 db, according to ISO L40/V; fire resistance class B1

Doors

  • Metal or PVC
  • With safety cylinder with dimensions 900/2050 mm and thickness 40 mm
  • 2 hinges support
  • Colour Ral 9010 exterior (can be painted according to the paint supplier’s colour palette on request at extra cost)/interior

Windows

  • PVC double-glazed with roller shutters and mosquito nets on request
  • White colour (can be painted according to the paint supplier’s colour palette on request, at extra cost)
  • Insulated glass 4/16/4
  • Window location 900mm from interior floor
  • Thermal insulation of doors and windows k=2.8 w/mpk

Floor

  • 2.0 mm thick cold-formed metal structure
  • H12 (0.5 mm) galvanised sheet metal, folded to lower frame
  • 2 mm thick galvanised side panels
  • 100 mm c1 standard mineral wool
  • 19mm thick water-repellent Pal Pal interior flooring
  • Homogeneous traffic linoleum 2 mm thick, glued over the entire floor surface and welded with weld bead
  • Maximum load-bearing capacity is 450 kg/m2.

Electrical installation

  • External CEE connectors recessed in the upper frame of the container
  • External 230V / 400V sockets, on request also 380V differential sockets can be fitted
  • Working voltage 230V
  • External earthing socket with M10 screw and nuts on 2 corners of the container
  • Automatic fuse panel with earthing system
  • Sockets located according to customer request
  • Switch located next to the door
  • Illumination provided by 2 x 18W neon lamps (or 2x36W on request) with IP 40 dustproof housing
